Victor Okoh Boniface was born on December 23 2000 in Akure Nigeria. He began playing football at a young age and developed his talent at Real Sapphire Academy a local Nigerian football school known for producing promising players.In 2019 Boniface signed his first European contract with Norwegian club FK Bodo Glimt. Despite early promise his debut season was interrupted by a serious knee injury which sidelined him for several months. He recovered and showed glimpses of his potential.He moved to Belgian side Union Saint Gilloise in 2022 where he impressed with his strength pace and goal scoring ability. His performances in the Belgian Pro League and UEFA Europa League caught the attention of top European clubs.In 2023 Boniface joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen. He quickly became a key player under coach Xabi Alonso contributing with goals and assists in both Bundesliga and European matches. His physical style and energy earned him a strong reputation.Boniface made his debut for the Nigerian national team in 2023. Though still early in his international career he is seen as one of Nigerias most exciting attacking prospects with fans hopeful he will play a major role in future tournaments.In the 2023-2024 season Boniface played a crucial role in helping Bayer Leverkusen win their first ever Bundesliga title. He scored important goals throughout the campaign and became a fan favorite for his passion teamwork and consistent performances on the field.
